Abstract:

Leptochilus axillaris (Cav.) Kaulf. belonging to the family Polypodiaceae, has been collected from Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Satara, Maharashtra. This species is reported for the first time from this locality, marking a new record for the state. The present study provides details on its distribution, ecology, taxonomic description, and photographs.
